Nashville, Tenn. — April 4, 2025 — Multi-platinum, global entertainer Chris Young’s romantic new single,"Til The Last One Dies," officially released today. The song, which impacts country radio on Monday, April 7, marks not only Young’s first new music with Black River but also his first release in over a year.
Young welcomes this new chapter, placing the tender strength of true love in a piano-ballad soundtrack – equally suited for a wedding day dance floor, or a candlelit night at home. Written by Ben Hayslip, Seth Mosley, and Jordan Walker, the heart-melting single re-centers Young’s foundation of timeless romance, while a deep vocal rumble points back to his baritone roots. A richly-textured anthem of everlasting devotion, its steadfast lyrics symbolize faithfulness in all forms, sure to once again sweep listeners off their feet.
It hit me on a winding road just how lucky I am
Outta all the guys, only God knows why I get to be your man
So I bought a dozen roses on my way to you tonight
Eleven real ones, one fake one, and I’ll love you ‘til the last one dies
Teaming up with producer Andy Sheridan for the first time, Young co-produced "Til The Last One Dies," the follow-up to the Grand Ole Opry member's 14th career No. 1 song.
“I’m blown away with the support I’m already seeing from fans and country radio on ‘Til The Last One Dies’” declares Young. “I’m grateful, and couldn’t ask for a better start as a Black River Entertainment recording artist.”
Young joined Black River's artist roster in late 2024, announced exclusively with Billboard, bringing more than nine billion global streams, 14 career No. 1 singles, and numerous ACM, AMA, CMA and GRAMMY nominations to the label. The Tennessee native kicked off his career with the romantic instant classic, “Gettin’ You Home (The Black Dress Song),” and has since evolved into a global arena headliner and creative force of nature – writing and co-producing much of the work behind his 54 RIAA certifications.
Continuing the excitement this weekend, Young is set to take the stage at San Diego’s Boots in the Park tomorrow leading up to a two-night run at the legendary Billy Bob’s Texas the following weekend.
