NASHVILLE, TN – Cowboy Troy doesn’t want to be “Away From You” in his new heartfelt single, available April 14. The third release in three months, “Away From You” differs from his previous 2023 singles, adding Americana and soft-rock flairs to a Texas-country track.
“‘Away From You’ is about the basic struggle to maintain sanity while being apart from the one you want,” states Cowboy Troy, the sole writer on the relatable song. “The distance that separates is the obstacle that needs to be overcome while taming the distraction of worrying if the feelings are mutual.”
Known as the Hick-Hop Innovator, the Billboard-chart-topping artist has already showcased versatility with his recently-released, red-dirt, Texas-country singles, “Gonna Be Alright” and “Down The Line.” With longing lyrics, smooth production, and blues influence, Cowboy Troy continues to show his true musical skill with “Away From You.”
"Away From You" will be available on all streaming platforms April 14. "I've always loved the musical diversity from Cowboy Troy as well as his various projects,"shares Burning Ground Entertainment owner, Dawn DeJongh. "He's always on the frontline of innovation."
