We’re excited to share with you details on the inaugural Dine to Shine: Lighting the Night for Nashville's Children, a fundraising event hosted by local non-profit organization Nashville Children’s Alliance (NCA) in partnership with beloved East Nashville Asian-inspired restaurant Noko on Friday, April 5. As an extension of Noko’s longstanding partnership with NCA, where 1% of the restaurant’s net profits go directly to the organization, this event will support NCA’s mission to provide healing and justice for children who have experienced abuse or witnessed violence – all at no cost to the children or their families.
The evening will begin with a welcome reception, followed by a silent auction and keynote presentation from inspirational Emmy-nominated filmmaker and child abuse survivor/advocate, Sasha Joseph Neulinger. During the presentation, guests will be seated for a multi-course dinner, featuring signature dishes from the Noko team as well as many other top Nashville businesses and restauranteurs from Sean Brock, Black Box Ice Cream, and East Side Banh Mi to Butcher & Bee and The Indigo Road Hospitality Group (Oak Steakhouse, O-Ku, etc.). After dinner, guests will participate in a ceremony honoring each child forensically interviewed by NCA in the last year, before the evening concludes with drinks, music and dancing.
Available here, limited tickets are still available ($150/ticket) and donations are still being accepted. The Silent Auction will open here on Monday, April 1 at 8am and close on Friday, April 5 at 9:30pm (non-ticket holders are welcome to participate in the auction as well). Dine to Shine is graciously sponsored at the Glow Level by Amazon, Delek US Holdings, Inc. and The Nancy and Victor S. Johnson Jr. Foundation.
