This is Tolman’s first release since her personal, "It's A Boy," inspired by her journey into motherhood with the birth of her first son, Bear Brainard, in 2022. The acclaimed singer-songwriter continues to "satisfy the itch of those who are searching for a more traditional, honky-tonk branded sound while skillfully keeping a toe on the line of here and now (Today's Country Magazine)" with her return to releasing new music.
"I’m beyond excited to share ‘Right Back’ as the first new song I’m releasing since becoming a mama! It feels like the perfect chance to say ‘I’m back!!’ A super fun two-step beat for live shows, mixed with the character-playing sass that I love. This one’s for all my girls who are over being under-appreciated!” Tolman shared.
In 2022, Tolman released her sophomore album Married in a Honky Tonk to rave reviews just weeks before marrying GRAMMY-nominated producer Dave Brainard in Jackson, Wyo. in a beautiful snow-covered ceremony, as reported in People.com. A few months later Tolman returned to Jackson for the inaugural 'Cowgirls at The Cowboy.' The all female line up was curated by Tolman and featured reigning ACM Female Vocalist of the Year Carly Pearceas headliner with performances by songwriters Natalie Hemby (Miranda Lambert, Lady Gaga, Jon Pardi, Little Big Town), Caitlyn Smith (Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, John Legend, Meghan Trainor), Carter Faith and Tolman.

Nashville native, Jenny Tolman is your "ride or die" kind of artist. Her songs will make audiences laugh, cry, stomp their feet, clap their hands and shake their heads in wonder at her inciteful, story-like lyrics. With a razor-sharp wit and throwback sound, she is this generation’s Roger Miller – just as funny, just as flashy, but from a decidedly feminine perspective. Her sophomore album, Married in a Honky Tonk – which made Wide Open Country’s list of the Most Anticipated Country Albums of 2022 – was released with critics proclaiming it "stunning" (American Songwriter) and permeated with "in-your-face humor and witty lyrics that have become increasingly rare in country music" (Billboard). From curating the first all-female country music festival, "Cowgirls at The Cowboy," at the world famous Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, featured on CMT’s Hot 20 Count-down, to garnering a viral music video for her single, "Watering the Weeds," Tolman continues to prove she has the talent and work ethic to become a country music powerhouse.
