NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Rapidly rising country music singer/songwriter Jordana Bryant has released a brand new track today, Friday, July 22, via Riser House Entertainment (Mitchell Tenpenny, Ronnie Milsap, Dillon Carmichael). Similar to prior singles “Guilty” and “New Friends,” Jordana has been teasing the track to her following of almost 200,000 and has received an overflow of support and demand for “Country Music.” The track explores Jordana’s extensive skills as a songwriter giving the word ‘catchy’ a whole new meaning. Characterized by her signature pop-country and Taylor Swift-esque lyrics, Jordana sings about her infectious love for country music that she notes as being her one non-negotiable. Listen to the song here.
“I feel like everyone has their one relationship deal breaker that they just can’t get over, and for me that’s music taste. If someone doesn’t like country music, I feel like I just can’t be with them, so I wanted to write a song about that,” Jordana shared. “I wanted to make ‘Country Music’ super fun and playful so that when people hear it, they instantly want to sing along. And I even threw in a few references to some of my favorite country artists and songs to pay homage to the history of country music.”
Written by the Nashville based songstress, as well as heavy hitting songwriters Zack Kale (Keith Urban, Florida Georgia Line, Gabby Barrett) and Seth Mosley (for King & Country, High Valley), “Country Music” is an infectious track that is sure to become a fan-favorite. With a confidence that is well beyond her years and an ability to write songs about her life that act as a relatable and comforting narration of the teenage girl experience, it’s clear that Jordana has a profound and unique ability to resonate with her fans.
Earlier this year, Bryant released her debut single, “Guilty,” with Riser House, garnering over 500,000 views on YouTube and 310,000 streams on Spotify alone in under two months. She followed up with the release of fan-favorite “New Friends” due to an overwhelming response from her rapidly growing fanbase on Instagram and TikTok, which instantly connected with the track and flooded Jordana’s comment section with pleas for its release. In turn, the track received over 10,000 pre-saves and went on to garner over 114,000 streams in just a few weeks. Now, a recent high school grad, Jordana is pursuing a full time career in music. She recently opened for country music trio Restless Road, played her debut Nashville show during CMA Fest and stepped into the celebrity guest role of Bailey Stone in the hit Florida Georgia Line-inspired musical, ‘May We All: A New Country Musical’ at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center following in the footsteps of Breland, Lainey Wilson, Michael Ray, Danielle Bradbery and many others.
Growing up in a home filled with the sound of her father playing guitar, Jordana has never known a life without music. Learning to play guitar from her dad at age 10, she began honing in and developing her gifts as a songwriter shortly after. Her writing is one of the many things in addition to her kindness, authenticity and work ethic that prove her to be wise beyond her years. Employing her musical attributes along with her tireless work ethic and unwavering passion for the genre, Jordana has shown time and time again just how far she will go with her music. The 16-year-old is continuously working on new music with additional releases slated for an already momentous year for the budding star.
