Nashville Dolphins Non-Profit to Host their 10th Annual Boots & Bubbles Clay Classic and Crawfish Boil Presented by the Tennessee Titans

The Nashville Dolphins non-profit will be hosting their 10th Annual Boots & Bubbles Clay Classic and Crawfish Boil on Friday, May 5th, 2023, at the Nashville Gun Club along the beautiful Cumberland River. This event will feature a clay shoot tournament prior to the all-you-can-eat crawfish boil dinner, so you can compete in the clay shoot tournament or just come for dinner, live music, and the organization's largest online auction to date! The clay shoot portion of the event will begin promptly at 3:00 pm, but please be sure to arrive at 1:30 pm for check-in. You can sign up to shoot as an individual or as a team of five. This is a wonderful opportunity to get together with friends, colleagues, neighbors, church groups, etc., and enjoy an afternoon of clay shooting followed by a delicious all-you-can-eat crawfish dinner! If clay shooting is not for you, you may purchase a ticket for the crawfish dinner only. The dinner portion of the event will be from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm and will have live music courtesy of The Northern Lights as well as an online auction. As part of their new matching grant initiative, The Carolyn Smith Foundation has awarded the Nashville Dolphins a matching grant of up to $25,000 for this year’s Boots & Bubbles online auction. Due to this generous gift, the nonprofit hopes to raise a grand total of $50,000 through this year’s online auction efforts.

The wildly popular all-you-can-eat crawfish will be prepared by Louisiana Seafood Company, along with plenty of fixings (sausage, corn, and potatoes), and Hank Ingram’s O.H. Ingram River Aged Whiskey will be hosting an on-site whiskey tasting for dinner guests. Patrons can also expect to enjoy other bottomless beverages, Cinco De Mayo snacks, and frozen margaritas.

Clay Shoot tickets are $300 for an individual shooter and $1,500 for a team of five (note: all shooting tickets include a dinner ticket as well). You can also purchase a dinner-only ticket for $100. Click here to purchase tickets and view the event flyer below for more information. All proceeds from this event will benefit the 300+ special needs individuals the Nashville Dolphins organization serves here in Middle Tennessee.

About The Nashville Dolphins: Nashville Dolphins started in 2003 when our founder, Beth Scruggs, agreed to help a swimmer with Down Syndrome improve her swimming skills to compete in the Special Olympics. Today more than 300 swimmers participate in the aquatics programming we provide, ranging from beginners just learning to blow bubbles to long-distance champions practicing several days a week. Because swimming is a lifelong sport with far-reaching benefits for an individual’s health and well-being, we serve swimmers of all ages with a no age-out policy. And because of the intensity of our mission to bring the physical and emotional benefits of swimming to people with special needs regardless of age, ability, or financial circumstances, we provide all programming at no cost to the participant.

It is the Nashville Dolphins' mission to improve the health and quality of life for children and adults with special needs and combat the alarmingly high statistic of drowning deaths. The Nashville Dolphins provide adaptive aquatic lessons ranging from water safety and survival through competitive swim team programming for participants at no cost. In addition, we empower our swimmers to experience the joy and pride of being a lifetime member of the Nashville Dolphins family. Our programs aim to enhance the quality, health, and safety of the daily lives of both our participants and their family members, within a safe and socially supportive community environment.
