Country music stunner, singer/songwriter and Wedding DJ, Jacquie Roar, has been making waves in the music industry since her blind-audition aired on the 24th season of NBC's The Voice. The Oregon-native used her impressive pipes to belt out Gretchen Wilson's hit song "Here for the Party," catching the attention of all four judges - Reba McEntire, Niall Horan, Gwen Stefani and John Legend - before choosing Gwen as her coach.
While Reba may have seemed like the obvious choice to country fans, it was little Leilani, Jacquie's young daughter, who ultimately chose Team Gwen for her mom. A big fan of the "Hollaback Girl," Leilani gushed that "Rich Girl" is one of her favorite songs.
Jacquie also mentioned in an Instagram Q+A that she grew up listening to Gwen and her popular ska-punk band No Doubt. While there's no doubt in our minds that Jacquie already has the talent to become an icon in the country music genre, she also has a natural edginess and grit to her that can't be learned. We are so excited to see what kind of magical music these two spitfires create.
Before auditioning for The Voice, Jacquie received some success via TikTok when a video of her singing an a capella version of Celine Dion's "The Power of Love," while in a hot tub, went viral. The video currently has over 1.3 million views and has been shared almost 5000 times on the popular platform.
Previously compared to powerful female artists like Miley Cyrus, Stevie Nicks and Adele, Jacquie's vocals combine a "darker sound from the 70s with modern material, creating a bond between pain and love." She has shared the stage with megastar names like Alan Jackson, Kelsea Ballerini, Martina McBride, Brett Young, Dan + Shay, and more.
"I feel like I’m in this new period in my life where I've learned a lot about country music and fell in love with country music in a way I never thought I would,” Stefani said.
Jacquie, to echo what Niall said, “you’re going to be a showstopper.” We can't wait to watch your journey and see where your career takes you next.

You can watch The Voice on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC.
Brown approaches his own timepieces as heirlooms: "I look at it with an eye towards what I can pass on to my two link boys, and I would love for the story to begin with me. Now, if I link had my uncle's watch that would be one thing, or something from my grandfather or my dad – something that was in my family that is worth holding onto. So it would be vintage in terms of a story connected to family, but other link than that, I can be the initiator or progenitor."
Here's something that I did not expect to see today, but that I have to admit puts a smile on my face as a coffee enthusiast. The latest collaboration between Bamford Watch Department and Badgerworks, the workshop run by link the jewelry and watch designer Black Badger (aka James Thompson), is a TAG link Heuer with link a tropical dial made of ground coffee.
